To run this large system every year Indian railway conducts recruitment for skilled workers. This recruitment is for 10th and ITI passouts. RRB Group D Physical Test Details
There are two stages in selection process, Computer based online exam and physical efficiency test. Those candidates who score above cut off in exam will be called for physical test. Exam is of 100 marks objective type. candidate who qualify physical test will be called for document verification followed by medical checkup. So in order to get selected candidate must qualify physical efficiency test. Remember there are no marks for physical test. You just have to qualify physical test according to given criteria.
For Physical Efficiency test qualification there are different criteria for male and female. Lets check details of each one by one
RRB Group D Physical Test Criteria for Male –
- Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
- Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
RRB Group D Physical Test Criteria for Female –
- Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
- Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
Note – Number of candidates called for physical test will two times of total vancancies. RRB reserved right to any change in recruitment process.
After this RRB Group D Physical Test there will be medical check up test also called as medical fitness test. This test is conducted by RRB to ensure that candidates are medically fit without having any disabilities or weakness to do regular work.
